Our fondant walnuts are made to order, when a customer requests them. Some are with cinnamon, darker, and others are without cinnamon (most of them).
The manufacturing process is quite tedious because first the marzipan balls are made by hand, then the nuts are added by hand, embedding them in the marzipan. Finally, they are dipped in boiling sugar, and with a skimmer they are removed one by one, as if they were fritters. Finally, they are left to dry on specially designed racks.
And the result:
Walnuts, sugar, almonds, stabiliser: sorbitol, glucose syrup, sweet potato, wheat flour, preservatives E-200 and E-202. May contain traces of egg, soya and milk.
