This type of artisan sweet is known under the registered trademark of catanias or Catànies, a typical dry sweet from Villafranca del Penedès, which delights the most elegant palates. The raw materials used are of the highest quality: Mediterranean marcona almonds, their original praline coating and the final cocoa powder wrapper, of the highest quality.
They were created in an attempt to make the most of some almonds that were not properly caramelised, and are highly appreciated for their exquisite flavour.
This mixture of sugared almonds and handmade chocolates are made with caramelised marcona almonds, coated with white praline and decorated with cocoa powder.
